Aura Stereo/ CD Changer Problem

Hi,

I have a Seat Leon 2001 1.9TDI. Recently i have been experiencing problems with my factory fitted stereo and CD changer.

When i switch to the CD player or start the car and the CD player is active, sometimes i cannot change tracks or swap discs from the head unit. The CD changer works fine normally and i cant find an issue with the head unit itself. As this is an Intermittent fault does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this issue?

Have you double checked the loom between the HU & Changer. Might be that one of the control wires is loose??

From memory there are 2 blocks that connect from the Changer to the HU, so one may possibly have un-seated itself?

Haven't checked to be honest. I had no idea where to start. I will take a look this weekend and reply. Thanks for you advice.

No prob's.

When you take the HU out, you'll see the main power & speaker ISO plugs and then above it are 3 (i think) smaller plugs, one of these is the changer connection, but I'm not sure which...might be more info on Icecavern.
