Aux socket question

Hi don't know if anyone can help me but?? Ive fitted a bluetooth hands free kit today and had to link it to the cigarette lighter for its power as a result i had to dismantle the area near the socket. The aux socket now doesnt work Ive checked and all the leads are in as they should be. Any ideas??

I had a new stereo fitted a few months ago under warrenty and at first the aux didnt work the stealers then said they must have forgoten to program it in. So the question is by me disconnecting the stereo could this have wiped the programing???

I know not the answer to your question but how does that console come out as i want to fit a power supply to my sat nav ? Cheers

which bit sorry stereo or aux socket area??

Check the settings on your radio, im sure theres an option to enable/disable the aux.

Sorry for not replying sooner the bit around the aux socket 12v socket and window adjustment switch cheers
