Auxiliary heater UK

First post, so firstly: Hi!
Ordered my V2 formentor in September, and obviously I’ve had no build date as yet .
I‘m reading through the online owners manual (yes, I’m that sad), and it mentions an auxiliary heater that can be activated via the app before I get in the car, so my questpion is this: can any V2 owners please tell me if the UK spec formentor has this feature? My gut says no.

UK spec Formentors do have a remote ventilation function, but it serves only to run the ventilation fan, without any additional ‘heating’ so to speak. Useful in the summer to ‘purge’ the hot air from the car….not so much in the winter.

When I picked up my car, the sales guy told me that any reference to ‘auxiliary heater’ should be ignored as this is reserved for PHEV cars only.

Welcome to the forum, believe it's only on the PHEV.

It doesn’t have the Aux heater mentioned in the manual as from what I can tell it uses fuel and would be an emissions problem.

You can preheat heat the PHEV however, and the windscreen clearing worked much better than expected. I’ve only had one frosty morning though

You can have Aux Heater but only with the 190hp engine 4Drive. I have it on my Formentor and it's working fine.
