Axle beam to IRS

Hi all! Was looking into converting axle beam to independent rear suspension so I can fit a decent set of coil overs.

I’m aware of issues around the exhaust routing etc but assume there can’t be many differences in mounting since the 184 has IRS?

Would appreciate and advise if anyone has done anything similar or know more

There are different 'side member' part numbers for (0N4) 4 link and (0N1) beam axle - so very much doubt its a simple bolt in job!

If you have to have 4 link independent rear - I would by a car with that.
