...how easy is it?

and how easy is it to put them back in?

I am looking at different alternatives as to how to transport my MTB about. It just about fits in the back of the car with the seats down, but my new bike is going to be a lot bigger, so if I remove the back seats it will free up a lot of space.

It's simple, the top parts of the seats just slide out once you've removed the plastic retainer inbetween the seat backs. Then you'll need an m..16?? bit I think, I'm sure someone else will remember what it is. and unto the bolt that was under the retainer you removed earlier, that will allow you pull the bottoms up and then remove.

I'll try find a more illistrated guide over lunch today for you, but it is very simple to answer your question. I would take mine in and out whenever I want to have a hoke about or an OCD clean lol

That's great, thanks alot for that!

I hate having the seats folded down for ages as it creases them :(. and I don't wana damage them having a really heavy bike lying on them

If you take both wheels off any bike fits in.
put your back seats down and then slide your bike in an put the folks down the gap between front and rear seats it sits fine. you can fit three bikes in. I have had 3 downhill bikes in a oner

Sorry mate but ya full of ****. I can barely fit my full suss bike in with both wheels off and it only has 140mm forks. I'm getting a DH bike with 200mm dual crown forks

If you can fit three DH bikes into a car then you must be some sort of ****ing genius. Or very good at Tetris
