Backbox delete

Good morning all. The backbox on my 2010 FR 170 is pretty battered now. Outer skin has peeled massively which is just getting worse. I’ve seen this delete pipe for a reasonable price but what I’d like to know is if I was to remove the box and replace with this pipe am I going to make my car sound like a bag of sh1t or will it not really alter the sound? Dpf gutted and egr delete. Stage 2 map so running approx 210bhp.

No beating round the bush in that reply haha. Thanks though. Might have to rethink then as if I wanted noisy I’d go back to petrol.

I’m in the same boat as you. I also have an FR 170 and the rear silencer is VERY crispy. Im really struggling to find a replacement for a sensible price. I might end up getting a custom one made, it’ll probably be cheaper..

IIRC the outer skin can peel pretty well off but the inner skin prevents it leaking.

It's well hidden under the car, only the MOT man is going to see it, as long as it's not leaking I wouldn't worry.
