Thinking of getting a backbox for my ibiza, and am unsure which to get. Was thinking of either a twin 3", or a 6"x4" oval.
Also, would i have to trim the bumper to fit it on, and how would i go about it?
its going on a 2003 1.4 16v.

You'll need to purchase the pre-facelift fr rear valance (has exhaust cut out allredy done). I've got a 6x4 oval on mine.

have a look at my pics to give you an idea of what it'll look like.

Hope this helps matey.

cheers, exactly what im looking for

How much is the valance, and how easy are they to fit, also does anyone know the part number

ermmm i think there about £16 from the dealers.

Quite fiddly to fit. Theres a number of clips that need to be lined up. Not immpossible though. Took me and a mate about 30mins to fit.

If you go into dealers and ask for the pre-facelift Fr rear valance they'll sort you out.

Or just cut the standard valance. Use a hacksaw and sand paper the rough edges off after. Draw a template on like in chalk or something. It's cheaper and means no messing around. Easier to change the valance with the bumper off tbh.

Nice and neat job there Ibiza 130 tdi.

If your not so neat though, FR rear valance is the way to go.

i had mine custom made at a garage in aylesbury, they cut the old valance and did a really neat job, sounds reli nice aswell ill post up sum pics soon.

changing the valance on the car is a right bi**h must say. I did it this morning for my new one and forgot how hard it can be

what's the exhaust on the fabia vrs, is it different from the 1.9 beeza 130 exhaust. Any recommendations for an exhaust to go for?
