Really happy with the look, the refurb looks amazing and the graphite wheels change the look of the car completely. Cant wait to get them sorted and tested tonight now :D

Good progress mate, loving the brakes they look sweet.

Any pics of how the whole car is looking now?

The project is coming along nicely.

Just read your thread mate, looking very good indeed

Thank you :D

Brakes at last lol ;)

100 to 0 in BREMBO'S! lol. Thanks for all your help mate

Thanks mate I love um. ;)
The car looks standard still to be honest, standards bumpers etc its just the wheels and brakes you can see at the mo but wont be long

Well I've taken the car out for a proper drive tonight for the first time since putting it all on....

WOW! Amazing difference, the tyres seem to have grip everywhere. Really pleased with them :)

The brembo's are brilliant in stopping or slowing the car when its really needed but dont feel amazing around town etc. We shall see, it made a fast road drive a real pleasure rather than hang on for your life ride lol

I've been bored out of my head all day, tried to lacquer the bumper but too damp and it went pete tong so sat down and starting thinking of things to do. I realised I could paint the inlet manifold so set to it! :)

Chargepipe next then!

You can get rid of the 2 little brackets held on by cap heads as they just secure the front of the LCR engine cover
I also need to know which battery box you want, they do still need finishing off too

Oh cool wondered what they were for. Um whats the options? best to text me? Need a rough price too bud :)

Choice of 3, original made from a tough 5083 (what my current one is), Or super light and strong 7475 material with aliminium angle bracing on the edges.
Best bet is to come over when your free and take a look

Well I'm putting the leon on hold for this week. The misses has gone to Russia for 3 weeks doing some community development stuff so I have decided to paint the front of her car. We had a bump in the snow last december resulting in a new bonnet and bumper however its black.

So 'PROJECT CLIO BEGINS' . . . . . :D:lol::whistle:

Now to shock you Jay, the Clio was all aerosol cans! The bonnets not as good as I would like but it will stop me getting ear ache!! Congrats by the way always have loved your leon

Evening all,

Well I've had Ronin225 over for an hour or so this evening and I've realised something. I'm well pissed off with the car and have lost all enthusiasm but after speaking to Tim for a bit and chatting about his plans I think its given me the jolt I needed, so tomorrow will see lots of work on the car and I'll go from there :)

Wish me luck!
