Cheers buddy. It's changed a lot but all for the better and still lots to do!
As for the light, yes it came on, I put a spacer on and it didn't make a difference, had it custom mapped and still hasn't gone. Next time the maps tweaked I'll have it mapped out. Doesn't cause any problems and you get used to it. I suppose it can be annoying when you just want a clear dash but hey ho
I know what you mean it can be a right pain, I'm thinking of going sports cat just to save all the hassle.
In other news I looked at the misses car today as it had developed BAD noises.
Anyone else think the pads needed doing?!?
Whoops.
Nope misdiagnosis was a sticky caliper. All lubed up and working now. On the downside noticed a severe oil leak
rear oil seals knackered and got head gasket issues. Time to decide wether to continue repairing the French pile of cr@p or just get a new car ...
However any warning light on the dash is now an mot failure
It is but if you reset all codes you get about 50 miles of driving before it comes on again.
Mapping should see it removed though

Spent the evening doing some clips for Tom of his mk5 R32 for some work he had done. A couple of little snippets below

I gave the MAF a clean today to see if that aids with my air flow.
While I was there looked at fitting the new filter which went really well until I realised I didn't have a jubilee clip big enough for the neck. lol
So instead gave it a quick wash in the snow.

Unfortunatley not for the leon, had to purchase the misses a new car as the clio died and here it is....

Im pleasantly surprised at just how well it goes. Primarily its for the misses as I have my toy but i'll be using it now and then.
Ride comfort is good, seats are ace. Its got lots of twirky little extras I didnt realise but seems to have hit home in the household lol
