It's arrved!! My downpipe and decat got delivered this morning...

Car looks great, i really like the debadged rear but im terrified of the paint not matching after 10 years
Just a quick update, I've fitted my green cotton filter, the downpipe and decat is being fitted Thursday so look out for pics. (thumbup)
I did take the downpipe back but apparently the dent is meant to be there, it gives clearance for the steering rack they said.
Torred1771, honestly mate 5 mins with scratch x or t-cut and you can't see a colour difference, makes the rear look so much smoother IMO

Had the day off today so got my clean on. So nice to have some sun to polish the car!
I'm off to get my decat fitted now, I'll get some pictures up of it being fitted later

Alright mate nice car, regarding your wheels - I put my standard 16's back on yesterday and they look so much better without the plastic centre caps. Reminds me of old Audi 80 wheels. Mines lowered 35mm and it looks not to bad, i'm planning on leaving my standards on and painting them black once the warmer weather comes back. Going to get some lower profile tyres for them which in turn will bring the car lower to the ground and space them out a bit. Hopefully will give a standard, but at the same time a unique look. Not seen anyone else on here do it anyway!!

Why did you go back to panel filter from the open cone filter may I ask?
Good progress though, done the essential mods like 007p fabia wiper and aero's etc, keep it all coming
Couple of reasons mate, fuel economy!, it kept dumping at random points causing the car to jolt and it seems to run alot smoother with a panel filter on, power delivery is just better really.
You got that right just need some to come up at the right price.

We had to trim about an inch off the end to get the size right.

I had some forum graphics turn up today, Ive stuck it in the rear window. Ill get a picture up tomoz once ive washed the mud off so you can see it lol
