The results wern't as good as last time but still ok I guess im now just desperate to get my FMIC and a custom map put on.

Well I've had a bit of time on my hands this morning so as ever I've been out with the primer

A few coats of filler primer.

Two coats normal primer.

BIG NEWS!!!

As a few of you may know, the idea was to get the car looking mint and a full CupraR replica. Due to a change in circumstances within the next year I will be buying another car (diesel for commuting).
Now because of this I've managed to twist the misses arm and she has agreed I can keep the leon as a fast road and trackday fun toy so Im not going to make the bumper as immaculate as first thought as its only gonna get used and abused hard

I will be finishing off the kit, getting my intercooler and map and then start saving for handling and big power mods

Well much to my surprise I've actually got the front bumper fully prep'd today so hopefully weather willing etc well see some red on the bumper and skirts tomorrow.

Getting so excited now!!!

I've just ordered a replacement crankcase breather pipe as mine split over the weekend.

Just a quick update.

Since doing the N249 bypass the car seems to be having some problems. It's idling really rough spluttering and revs dropping and is cutting out when driving.

Hopefully all will be sorted by tomorrow evening with the help of some useful forum info and members

I got some painting done today, a bit of positive thinking with the couple of problems Ive had lately.

Fitted my lambda sensor spacer.

Then got on with painting the front bumper and skirts.

The kind bug that got stuck in the new paint

The parts drying.

Now an evening at Phill's ahead trying to fix the idling problems.

Been over there this afternoon and he has fixed all of my problems so 'big up Phill, thank you '

N249 bypassed, N112 bypassed and SAI fully removed.

Cheers buddy, flies etc are the only problem with painting outside I'm afraid but it's ok I'm nearly there now
