Thanks mate.

What I wanted from the car has changed somewhat since I got it. I think if I still had my original plan of keeping it immaculate I would be devestated.
As it happens I've discovered driving quickly in a controlled manner is much more fun so the car is now a fast road toy which will eventually be a track and Sunday car :) I'm happy with that!

Yeah, you're right there mate - adding your own personal touch is always good.

Haha I know what you mean, just putting alloys and lowering my Toledo has improved handling so much - working on getting a thread up soon. That's a great plan, all the best and I'll be keeping an eye on your thread

Assuming you're fitting it to a K03S?
Couple of problems I found, the chargepipe need to be spaced over a little and can sit very close to the PAS reservois. The top of the chargepipe needs you to make a custom pipe to the turbo as a standard one doesn't fit.
The last problem is the pipes off of the fuel rail foul (I can't remember what on) but you can carefully bend them out of the way. I think that's it mate. :)

Been abit quiet on updates lately really....so heres a big one!

Ive been wanting to do a brake replacement for a while, got abit carried away and ended up ordering the Forge 6 pot 356mm setup!

They arrived today so heres some snaps.

Paired with EBC yellow stuff pads.

Test fitted them this evening, ill be bleeding them and bedding in tomorrow with any luck!

While I was at it I upgraded the rears to LCR calipers with EBC discs and pagid pads. Also replaced the wheel bearings for good measure and fitted LCR disc shields.

And lastly the parts awaiting fitment shelf! (some of these are now on the car)

All in all been a busy week!

Amazing looking discs/callipers. I would love a set of these. The 356mm fitment looks great behind the LCR wheel. Does this mean that you're going KO4 then Barn? :D

Lovely brakes Barn! Good upgrade all round mate with the rear brakes not getting forgotten.

I'm sure she'll stop a bit better after this.

In terms of going for more power, think about it carefully, if you want to enjoy the car this summer don't go pulling it apart doing a rebuild, I'd wait till summer is over. Maybe just strip the car instead for power to weight gains ;)

I noticed while fitting the brakes that the front anti roll bar drop link ball joint was knackered so I brought a pair of them and replaced them with some lemforder ones. :)

I've also noticed that the inner CV boot it split (its rattling around the shaft) so need to get that replaced soon too.
