Basic guide to changing clutch?

Getting my uprated clutch plate put into my cay by a friend who is a mechanic. Anychance of people in the know giving a basic guide on any complications. And what's involved. He's pretty confident. But we are doing it the day before Crail and wanna be prepared for any snags. Cheers folks

1) Take car to your pal, who is a mechanic.
2) Watch your pal, who is a mechanic change the clutch
3) Pay your pal, who is a mechanic for his efforts
4) Muller new clutch next Sunday

car up, box off, clutch off, clutch on, box on, car down.

Al's idea is the best.

That said, if your mate is a mechanic then he has nothing to fear - your FWD shopping trolley is much of a muchness - ie the setup is the same as any old car
