Beginners Detailing products.

Im preparing for a detailing marathon next week (weather permiting), and am looking to buy some products.


Basically this is what im looking at (from motorgeek)

1) Clay bar, and detailing spray
2) Klasse all in one
3) P21S wax.

What you think about that? Its a black Mk4 ibiza cupra, washed every other weekend from new. Paint looks in good condition, with V minor swirls which im not too fussed about.

Ive got loads of MF cloths, which I assume I can use to put on the Klasse and P21S.?

Ive heard they both go on easily and wipe off.

Certainly sounds like a plan mate.

I would say get some applicators while your on Motorgeek, there only a quid or so each. Then just use the MF's for buffing off.

Sealent before the wax, let it cure for 30 - 45 mins

From memory, Iain/Andy described the All-In-One as a mixture of
paint cleanser, some polish, and some sealent.

On the detailing day (up north), we used the AIO on the Colt, and then followed it up with some sealent too, before the wax.

if its a awarm day when you use the AIO, you may need to spritz it with DW in order to wipe clear.....

Distilled water dift, doesnt leave water marks. You can spray it on to wipe off marks.
