Fareham, Hants
Hi everyone,

My names Ben (obviously!), I'm 28 and live near Fareham in Hampshire. I bought my LCR a couple of months ago and genuinely wish I'd bought one sooner! My previous car was this:

A BMW 320D M Sport Saloon with various mods. I loved it but was getting tired of diesels and owed a bit of money on it so sold up, paid off the finance and bought this:

It's been around a bit and needs some TLC but I don't mind that. At £3700 it was a bit of a steal! 114k but two owners and FSSH. Mods so far are the usual fabia rear wiper, de-badged, matt black 'S' badges, Demon Motorsport TIP, N249 bypass and lowered 40mm with cheapy springs. I'll get some pics up soon!

The plans are relatively simple as these cars are cracking straight out the box. The bumper could do with a respray (stone chips) and I would like to lower the car with AP coilovers (stance is everything!) Perhaps some 10mm spacers for the rear, uprated ARB's and brakes too. After that a re-map and it's time to concentrate on the audio!

I've got a dump valve coming (cheers James!) and look forward to meeting some of you at various meets/events!

I'm happy with the way it looks for now although I'm still struggling over one of the jacking point covers!:censored:

Here's another couple of pics of the front and rear:

Comments and critisisms are welcome!

Looking good mate and nice price too.

You sure you need to uprate the brakes? Always found the brembo's spot on or are your discs on their way out?

Can't beat the LCR for value for money!

Enjoy. :)

A quick update:

I've finally got round to fitting a few bits. A THS shortshifter found it's way onto the car this morning which was nice. After struggling with it yesterday (not getting it off, getting it to work) I realised that the gear lever wasn't in the neutral position in the car when re-fitting!

I had another go at it today and it was finished in ten minutes!! It's a great mod and one that everyone should do. The gear change is nice and short and precise now.

Also fitting an autogauge boost gauge and nomad pillar:

And finally a new gear knob was on the cards as my old one had seen a lot of action:

Cheers for looking!
