Best air filter ( remap car )

Hi there i got a tdi 1.6 115@148hp

I need to Change the air filter, do u think that i should buy k&n or aftermaker its the same thing?

I had a Revo remap and was going to go with a Revo panel filter, but I've always gone with K&N for any bike/car I've had. In the end a good price came up on Amazon for a K&N, so I went with that. The thing that surprised me was it's at least half the thickness of the standard air filter!

No - just use a standard air filter.
The standard air filter will flow more than enough air for the power your 1.6.
The same filter is used on much more powerful engines.
