I've been searching for a new set of coilovers for a while but can't seem to find anything decent other than KW v3 with adjustable height, rebound and damping?

I have emailed the likes of AST, LEDA and Proflex but the replies from those guys confirmed my fears!! Prices ranging from £3k to £10k for a "good" set up:cry:

Has anyone got a fully adjustable set up that isn't KW?

Spax rsx just broke a car with a set on, they felt good on the drive back from Wales to brum. Think there around £580-£700 new. What's up with the kws how come you've not gone for them? I've had a set and there very good.

Spax RSX don't have adjustable rebound ;-)
I've not ruled out the KW's just looking see if there are any alternatives for the mk3 and there doesn't seem to be.

Has anyone got any experience of the BC V1 and K-sport adjustable coilovers & top mount kits?

They look good bits of kit guess the just generic pics as the rear top mounts are different

I'd love them front top mounts tho

Any luck refurbing the b16s?

Not yet mucka I've just replaced them with some cheap FK AKs to allow me to get em off.

How you rating them then? I like the ability of the h&r cup kit I run when pushed to like 8 or 9/10ths of what (bare in mind i am a little crazy as has been noted a few times by many a passenger!! ) I am willing to push to on the road.. but at 3 or 4 tenths its crashy and uncomposed and makes me down when using it daily.. As I can't push really hard all the time, as much as I'd love to... It's too busy with far too many people who are utterly useless at judging a r/bout let alone a corner! and my licence needs to stay in my pocket! So In general driving its a bit of a boy racer feel... Haha

So my next suspension choice is in the air... I like the reviews I've heard of the bilstein b16 pss9 kit... Kinda fits my requirements I think,,, except the 1400 price tag...

I want simple things... Composed and responsive to undulations and pot holes and Comfortable ish normally. But stiff and solid and can also cope with mid corner bumps and harsh edged bumps, and without my dash jumping a couple inches going over white lines at speed!

Is this impossible?

What have you used on your ibiza so far and how to you rate them?
