Currently running Standard Rubber these Potenza RE040's 225/45/17's on Me FR TDi & at just over 13k there down to 3mm on the front !!! YIKES !!!

Whats the best Anyone else has done with these same tyres & car ??

Dunlop SP 9000's gonna be fitted to the fronts when they are shot soon.

Should get to 14k

my fronts are fooked, bought them second hand already on the alloys. Guy reckoned he'd done 9k on them and i've done about 5k - so 14k isn't too bad. I only got 9k out of Toyo T1S' on my civic.

still, even though they don't have much tread left they are still performing very well.

Aye

Had continental sport contacts on previous cupra TDI - lasted 15.5k. Though they were illegal for 200 miles.

Got 19k out of Eagle F1's on front (on a leon cupra tdi) and 33k out of conti's on back, getting 4 new Dunlop sp9000 on sat as the tyres are now on the limit.

on about 20k out of the rears from what i can tell
about 10k from fronts which range from 3-5mm in tred

not that impressed with them to be honest, wont be getting them again

I'm on 18.5k from my Bridgestones on the front and am about 1mm off the wear indicators. They're the original tyres that came with the car (Leon Cupra TDI) when I bought it new. They seemed to wear really quickly over the first 8k, then the wear rate seemed to slow dramatically. Reckon I'll need to replace them in about another 1-2k.

I'm on 22k on the fronts and 42k on the rears at the mo. They are due to be changed very shortly to Michelin Pilot Sport 2 that I got for £300 :)
