Best off the shelf exhaust.

Hi,

I've looked on a few websites and no one seems to do a 3" exhaust for the 1.9tdi, does anyone know why or if anyone does them?

Haven't got the time to go and get a custom one made, rather fit an off the shelf one if possible.

I know I can get a 3" decat online.

Because 3" is too big for the engine. Milltek and Darkside are the best options.

Basically any exhaust from a FWD Leon will fit (the Milltek is listed for both the 1.8T and 1.9TDI). Exception is Cupra R exhaust cuz it needs a Cupra R rear bumper.

Yeah 300 is the aim, sending a second head off to get sorted and got a fast road cam coming.

Need injectors next.

Even for 300bhp (expect to spend a lot of money for that, I think a Darkside unit is in the 8000 region) you won't need a 3" exhaust

A decat isn't the problem mate, but that's the decat I will buy.


Maybe just get the cobra 2.5" off ebay with the cupra R tip.
