I'm looking into upgrading my front and rear discs.

I had a search and can find much apart from a thread with disc info and upgrading to cupra brakes etc.

I see few people put Porsche calipers on. What is needed? Also having the cupra r means I have solid rear discs. Can I either change these to vented or even upgrade these to Porsche ones?

Is there anything else I need to look into if I was to go ahead?

Standard cupra calipers are pretty good. Genuine pads and disc are your best choice for a daily driver, good tyres is another thing to look at but if you have deep pockets look here
http://www.vagbremtechnic.com for upgraded brakes

I assume DaveB is the owner of the vagbremtechnic?

I quite like the look of the Porsche calipers. Can you do the same with the rears?

Looks smashing!

Really keen on this kit further on.
