An LSD is a must before any big turbo application on a FWD car. Ive managed to pick one up cheap...ish, hopefully its going on when i fit my stage 3+ clutch

I've been looking at big turbos too but it won't be for another year at least. I'm rebuilding my engine at the moment with Wossner pistons and ZRP rods.

Banks id go for the GTX3071R for the extra money, better all round turbo and faster spool.

I can see from both points of view with big turbos on FWD cars, but like others have said you learn to drive it and when your rolling and want to pass someone you'd be past them before they even know it. Years ago they said 200bhp in the civic Tyre R was the maximum for FWD, look at the focus RS from the factory over 100bhp more than that. My brother was saying the car will never handle with over 300bhp through the front wheels and was very surprised when he drove it and even complimented it and that's something if you knew my brother. He's a jap and rear wheel drive kinda bloke............

lsd's is on my list for a next mod and maybe before the big turbo
hopefully mike, all will go well and it'll be a cracking bit of kit in a fwd car :)
i can still drive it pretty fast without wheel spinning but add another say 80 bhp itll no doubt be harder to get the power down lol
might start running the federal rsr's more often ;)
big lee the focus rs is a monster and does everything very well with big power and handling
