Glowplug light started to flash on the car last night, took it into Kings this morning and asked if they could take a look.

Didn't have an appointment and they were mega busy but they managed to fit the car in and fix it while I waited. They apologised it may take a while but I was out after about 2 hours, which I don't think is bad going considering they were pretty full up as it was.

Turns out it was the brake switch thingy that needed replacing, typically £6 for the part and £50 odd for the labour! the guy kept me informed all the time of what was going on, and was really apologetic that he couldn't do it any sooner.

At least now I will be able to travel to Kent later on without having to worry about the car dying on me! :)

Hmmmm, so maybe now I'm changing my mind about the good service I had from Kings.

Saturday night the light starts to flash again, and this time we notice my top brake light is on all the time the headlights are on. Also, if the headlights are off and you brake, the left sidelight comes on.

Soooo, a call to Kings who phoned the other half back this morning and were very apologetic, car is going back in again on Saturday to hopefully get sorted properly!

Kings are very good whenever I visit there - friendly and decent service. However, I rarely go there now as i have no real need to, unless I want parts.
