Well it's in! front wheel off. Not loads of room but least it fits. lined the boot with my old car cover so should protect it from mud etc. Least the bike paint scheme matches the car ;)

Probably safer in there anyway as obviously the car is alarm and then locked in the garage.

Yeh easy fit mate, I get my DH bike in there.....both wheels off but it's a lot bigger than that, I tried with a bike rack once and the fuel economy totally disappears!!! As in sub 20mpg :S Cover the car up and put it in the boot is the best way :D

The bars fit between the seats nicely so no need to take the rear wheel off. Could do if I was travelling any great distance or I could take th bars off. This is a 19" frame by the way, any bigger and I'd have problems. My mate has a GT with an XL frame so not sure how he is gonna get on. His will be going in the back of his bravo though so probably more room to play with.

My Ibiza is now a van!

i agree with the fuel economy. its ok driving around with the bars and rack on but when you put a bike on, you are down to low 20's on the motor way. Not good

Dont know if that pic comes up, im strugglin to uplaod. Mines an Iron horse sunday, and that just about goes in the back both wheels out, seats down! Bike racks a no no with the spoiler ive found, unless u get a tow bar mount one, and i cant see anybody wanting that! Talking about cwmcarn, I smashed myself up real bad there 3 weeks ago on the big doubles down the bottom, still hobbling about! Ive found its easier to find a mate with a van!
