Black soot from exhaust

Just wounded if any 1 nos wat could be causing black soot from my exhaust. If I leave the car on idle them rev it right up I get a puff of black soot from the exhaust

Mine is doing the same, Usually the 1st start after its been sat at work all day.

Black smoke is usually fuel, Mine smells like pure petrol coming out the exhaust.

Clears after 10 seconds or so, Not right though.


Mine could be a leaky injector I guess.,

black smoke is usaully caused by carbon deposits, try using some redex/STP injector cleaner

Mine is deffinately fuel, It smells like a petrol station, lol

Good job the thing is going to Bill's place on the 2nd,

Hoping he can work his magic and sort mine.

Iv got a black staining above the exhaust on the bumper. Don't notice it smoking though?
