Blue fin or remap

Thinking of getting 1 of these for the FR 550! Not sure which is best? Do I need to wait until I have run her in!

Go for a remap. I tried the bluefin on my TD PD140 and took it off. It made it very smokey.

Probably overfueling tbh. That's what normally causes smoke on diesels.
