As most of you know, I recently had a new turbo fitted and now the car has been running fine for about 200miles or so.
One thing though, On startup from cold, a small/medium amount of blueish smoke comes out the tailpipes and it does this for about 20-30 seconds and then stops leaving the car running fine throughout my journey.
I would guess that my mpg has not been great around 48mpg with a remapped 1.9TDi, but is this smoke issue something I should worry about? What would fix it as it never did it before, only when I used to floor it. Or is it because of the small amount of oil still in my exhaust from when the turbo blew previously
The car is due for another oil and filter change in a few hundred miles, dont know if this will fix it but oil level has been fine (checked weekly) and coolant/water is between the min/max still.
PS, I havent been able to floor it yet, still waiting on the turbo to be fully bedded in. Will also upload a small video later on to show what its like.
Any insight guys??
