We have a 2015 fr with tech pack, it seems that only one Bluetooth device can be coupled at a time, ie, one phone or digital music device at a time, is this correct? I want to have my phone and music at the same time.

One device can be connected at a time, but that means you can have a phone connected for both calls and bluetooth audio.

You can have the phone on one phone and use music on another. I have my phone connected to take calls and my son connects his and plays music. It's under Settings, Bluetooth, Paired Devices I think. Here you can choose what does what

Can’t say that ever worked on my old 280 with the MIB1, but my current car with MIB2 will connect 2 phones by Bluetooth. However if you use CarPlay it only allows devices connected y CarPlay (but again 2, it’s just not as easy to switch between the 2).

It works fine on mine unfortunately and I have to listen to the crap my lad likes :). I don't often use Android Auto as it's rubbish with Amazon Music

Your other option if you have access to download music is to put it all on a memory stick or portable hard drive unless you are wanting to play it on a data connection. I have a 300gb hard drive connected too so I don't have to touch my phone
