Morning all, just thought i should say hello to you. i have a 2 week old boca, i wanted to know what are the limits with the gearbox/clutch as i am looking at upgrades

Yea there is somewhere, I just want it revo and induction kit and I put the forge spacer on today, sounds really good

Without wanting to give any further details 2 DGS gearboxes broke during tests. they were not searching the limits of the gearbox they were tuning the cars, at 35kg of torque the clutch packs went kaboom.
The rest of the gearbox was ok no further damages.

35kg=253lbft=342 NM for guys not sure about the conversion

Was it a UK tuner? etc etc

lol i was 1 NM out. that must have been the extra NM that caused the failure l

Are these tuners still producing maps, albeit at a lower level they were happier with? If so what do they thin is the safe limit?

hahaha maybe, Vrsy given that u had a tuned car you must know that human nature cannot be satisfied easily and you always want more. I dont know what they think but i believe a maximum of 32kgs is enough until there is a reliable aftermarket solution at least.
