Hey, Im just wondering why you would want a 'car bra' surely having this on looks miles worse than actually having stone chips? or am I missing the point?

Its not for the stone chips really as I can easily correct them.

I just like the look of them on some cars. Not everyones taste I know.........but each to their own.

I'm also thinking of a black vinyl roof too.

OH MY GOD! are you joking??

I was about to defend them by saying that I'm driving to Spain in the summer and therefore "staying way back from cars to prevent stonechips" isn't really an option, so I want to invest in one of these HIDIOUS creations, simply to preserve the paint.

but you want one cos you LIKE them?? is it prescribed drugs you're on??

I am with you Donnyboy. On the right car and right colour I think they are OK, also deflect the bugs in summer to help keep the screen clear.
There used to be a guy on Pistonheads called Hellfinger who sold them, might be worth contacting. He had a monster s/charged R32 but it has been a long while since I was there.

Nice one Mark. I'll give that a try.

you do realise that the link you posted also has MKII leon bras don't you??

http://www.autobra.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/products_id/276

looks like they don't do em for the FR or Cupra though, unless they have a variety. . .

The one in the link covers the whole front. I just want the bonnet edge covered. ;)

i see you changed the "censored" smiley to a "clapping" smiley . . . interesting

sorry but you've got a gorgeous, sleek looking car, and you want to stick on a piece of material that looks like you've forgot to take the wrapping paper off it or something? it just seems strange to me.

It just next to it and was a mistake. I can change it back if you like.

I think I'd rather pay for a re-spray every few years, haha!

I'm looking for where to get one guys.........not opinions what people think of it.
