Bonnet Lift

I am having some problems lifting my bonnet. The lever is extremely tight and feels like it is going to snap. Any idea's on how to get my bonnet open without using it?

The lever under the drivers side ? or the lever under the bonnet ?

The cable's have been known to snap but also i had a problem on my 8v last year where the bonnet wouldnt lock down.

The lever in the footwell is really tight and does not seem to do anything. I dont think the cable has snapped because this would make it loose.
I wanted to know if there was a way to get to the bonnet latch without having to smash the grille or anything.

Get new cables fitted ASPA, theres no other way in with out jacking the car up.

No you'll need a garage to do it, not too long and not too fiddly, hours labour plus the cable tops!

try getting someone to bounce on bonnet not to hard but just enough force to take tensoin off cable whilst u pull bonnet release handle should open bonnet then when bonnet opened replace cable and lube up cable and release catch area hope this helps
