black vibe is meant to be alright. Loose the power cap though.

Why? is it not a good idea to keep the power levels steady since on one bass5 it can run 1350rms?

power cap will put extra strain on your powersupply.

Get on talk audio and do a search about it. No one over there runs a power cap and some guys are running 10 times the power of you and I if not more.

Invest power cap money in uprated front battery or 2nd battery in boot and big3 wiring upgrade :D Then you'll be able to play until your ears bleed!
Edit: you might need to give that sub more power, think it's rated at around 2.5Kwrms, and with that amp, you can give it a 2ohm load which with that amp is about 1500, Don't know if that amp is 0.5ohm stable though.

Just been on the vibe site and looked at the amp's specs, I always thought, lower resistance, higher output, but 2ohm has higher output than 1ohm, poverty please explain :p

No idea why its like that but quiet a few amps work in that way. Alot of amps struggle to be 1 ohm stable and I can only assume its related to that. Think it has been covered before on TA but it got too complicated for me lol.

And big will is right, you need 0 gauge, and the big three doing.

well it sounds brilliant and watching the power cap readings we did push it to drop from 14 point something straight down to 11.00

jst need to sort the panel rattle in the boot i think it way be the lights and the latch mechanism and need a stealth shelve to hide the amp and power cap

and saving up for at least 2 sets of vibe space 6 components new uprated batteries and i have a mate in college that is going to make up a series of capacitors to help with the head units lack of power

i will let all hear at the next scotland meet
