Looking for your wisdom on this topic. So we've had pretty cold freezing temperatures lately and I initially thought that my boot lid might have frozen shut. But on closer inspection trying to open the lid with the tilting badge hinge, I'm not hearing any sound for the latch actually operating. Is the latch operated by an actuator as in electric? It seems weird that every now and then the boot lid agrees to open even though most of the times not. Anyone else had similar issues?
I've tried checking online and at least the previous gen VW Polo seemed to have similar problems.
