Boot Struts Upgrade

Can anyone link to boot struts that fit and are more powerful to open the boot from the key fob. IK it can affect the boot and hit ceilings etc so don't need to be lectured on that, just want a link to get some if someone has done this before. TIA

I was also thinking about this, especially since I've had the hatch closing very hard the other day. I had to push down on it quite firmly, all the way to closing it.

I know that reversing the struts made it to open automatically after unlocking, on the Golf 6 or 7, I think.. maybe someone tried that?

Did you find a link for strut upgrade spring seat exeo 2013

I tried some springs just from eBay but didn’t fit onto existing ones. Then got some new struts with springs fitted but were too tough and bent the metal body cracked slightly so returned those, again eBay. Not sure of exact links but more hassle than it’s worth tbh so not going to bother again, have the stock ones back on and leaving it as is.
