Bottom to top or...

Which way is the prefered way for people to wash their cars ? It is a topic of debate around here at the moment.

Most of the "muck" gathers on the bottom so it would make sense to work downwards!!

How the fek can you do it bottom to top , if you did all muck from roof would run down onto clean doors windows etc...... always do alloys first followed by roof and work down, someone's been to the vicar's for sherry and mince pies

Why would anyone start at the bottom?*

I always start at the bottom and work upwards when using a jetwash (which is very rare)

Start at the top and work down when hand washing though. Alloys always get done last as they're usually the dirtiest.

Alloy's 1st craig as over spray from alloy cleaner then gets washed off body work, and separate bucket or change @ very least for wheels

I don't use alloy cleaner, just the dirty water left in the bottom of the bucket
