Brake caliper covers (instead of painting them)

Hi, has anyone used brake caliper covers instead of painting them?

I was thinking something like this -

might look good on my Ibiza FR

Anyone tried them?

Any thoughts?

i havent tried them but im fairly sure with the heat from the brakes that the glue wont keep them ontop of the calipers.

I think this is probably the biggest fail iv seen for a good while....

"The more glue yo add, the more stable it is....."

These are about as much use as Anne Franks drum kit mate, put the 20 quid towards some hammerite!

Yep, even if these weren't absolutely awful in the first place, it would be an absolute nightmare when you come to replace your first set of pads!
