I have a 2004 Cupra TDi and the O/S/R caliper needs replacing as the handbrake is sticking. Looking on replacements, there are 38mm piston and 41mm piston. Which one is suitable for my car?

I have looked at the build sticker and I have no PR code so no idea if it's a 1KK 1KP or something else

Thanks

Don't need to replace it mate, I've just fixed my mates caliper and mine, take the caliper off, take the metal parts of that hold the handbrake cable, wire brush all round the caliper were the parts fit on, grease up those parts and fit them back on. now get ur self a hammer and hit the metal part were the handbrake cable fit in, hit it right down the right up, do that loads of times mate and it will start working again, you will no it's fixed as it won't stick it will spring back and forward, I've fixed mine and my mates over a week ago now and our hand brakes are bang on, we're you tighten up the handbrake one side was away down but now both side are perfect, try this before you start spending cash mate, easy fix, if you havnt got a piston tool to wind it back in, long nose pliers, open the pliers and put the nose parts in the groves and turn, piece off piss. Let me no how you get on

Thanks for the reply Bigjohn84

I had the same problem around a year ago and did as you stated, plus fitted the caliper springs. Been perfect for just over a year but this time i may just replace it
