I have recently bought a 23plate Cupra Leon 245 V2 DSG model with 19k on it, & the brakes are mess, having been standing somewhere the rear discs have a level of corrison that has pitted around 30% of the brake disc face, and they are not cleaning up by driving, the fronts aren't brilliant either. I'm envolved with battle of words with the dealer I bought the car from around 4 weeks ago, they are refusing to entertain teh idea of replacement parts.

For some reason after looking around I see thet 340mm Front / 310mm Rr Cupra spec brakes apperar to prone to corrosion, is this just my experience or have other suffered similar levels of deteriation.

I have the same model and year. No issues with corrosion, but I haven’t left it standing for more than a fortnight and it’s done 11,000 miles. Just too much brake dust!
