I need to replace my rear pads, so I'm looking on this forum to see what others are using. I've noticed that people here prefer Pagid brake pads... any particular reason?

I've had a quick look at my local supplier (I'm in central Europe) and they don't stock Pagid - but they do stock Bosch, as well as Ferodo.

Anyone had experience with Bosch or Ferodo pads? Or can recommend something different?

Never had Pagid but i got a set of OEM Ferodo SLs and they are perfect so far

They mostly choose Pagid because there always on offer on ebay, was £164 now £30 something like that if you want the best of the best then ferodo ds2500 are the ones to get

Hey, thanks for the tips.

I just looked at the website for my local supplier and they have Ferodo SLs - cheaper than the Bosch pads. In fact they are so cheap I overlooked them before, thinking they were inferior quality.

They also had DS but they are about three times the price - I don't need "the best of the best" ... I just need "decent" :)

They also have Ferodo Premier - same price as Bosch. Anyone used these?

Ferodo premier pads are one of the only pads on the aftermarket that are made using the same friction material as factory standard parts. Most others use their own compound which is fine for the majority.

I'm running ds2500 pads and will be going for something different next time, don't suit me personally.
