I have owned my Ibiza sport for about 2 months now and i noticed the other day that my brake pedal makes a hissing noise when pressed is this normal? It doesn't have any effect on the braking but it is annoying when you dont have music on to drown it out.
Also I have noticed when reversing once you apply the brakes there is a creaking noise coming from the back end of the car... any ideas?

Yeah, i've found the same thing with my brakes, though they always stop me so i don't think its an issue (occasionally if i've jumped on the brakes hard, if i press them again quite soon after i get a stuttery noise and sensation from the pedal? (not the ABS kicking in, it's a different stuttery sensation, it stutters as the pedal gets pressed further towards the mat as opposed to abs which just pulses the brake pedal when it's fully depressed)

lol its air mate... i believe its the compression. which makes the 'hissing'noise. creaking from back is probably because when reversing the rear brakes are taking the weight and slowing the car down not the front. think im about right with this.

i think the reversing thing is as said above and due to the back axcel being a bar or somthing, the same noise happens when the handbrake is on lightly and you jumpabout in the car.
nightfight are you talking about the shudery thing hapening in reverse, as mine ocasuanally does the pedal thingy too while going forwards. i thought that it was the abs coming in to early. but i have never used the abs yet may try it out to see, this could be fun.

If i just sit with the engine running and press the brake pedal it makes the hissing noise, then if you turn the ignition off and press it a few times it stiffens until you cant press it any more? maybe its just a new car thing?

It will do that mate. No need to worry. It will stiffen as the wheels are not moving to release the piston and brake fluid. The hissing is the pressure pushing the piston to apply the brake. There is nothing wrong with it at all.
