Hi all
I’m interested to upgrade my brake calipers in my Leon mk1, right now im running 312mm original calipers.
I know that the most common upgrade is the LCR 4pot calipers but it’s i don’t have them in my county, so I thought going for z17/18 6/4 pot, anyone fitted this setup?
Thanks

Are you looking for better looks or better performance? Cheapest solution or best looking? Track, street or both?

I wanted the best value for money, for fast driving, track days and also to improve the look.
As far as I can see the best option is the brembo jr witch are bolt on with my 312mm discs.

You can get Porsche calipers onto 312mm discs. Darkside Developments do the custom carriers and lines, others might also but I don't know.

The jr are bolt on with the adapters.
I know about the option of the aftermarket adapter and brembo caliper that fit the holes distance, but I will be more expensive and it will take more time and effort.

I want some decent brake pads I know DS2500 are the fave here but Ive been told they are too noisy and poor performance when cold, not the best for everydays road usage.

I just want some pads that brake enough right from startup, and are pretty much silent. Thanks a lot :D
