Brand new sachs clutch and dual mass flywheel SLIPPING!

Hi, any of you guys had a new clutch and flywheel recently?

Had mine done today, noticed a bit of slip wondering if this is normal?

I guess it's kinda the same as brake pads since I'm bedding in friction new material but I could be wrong.

Have to say it's like driving a different car now it's not shaking like a virgin every time I take off!

Yeh they can take a few hundred miles to bed in fully apparently from what I've read, has it made your gears any smoother?

I wouldnt have expected a brand new clutch to be slipping regardless of any bedding in.

They can from what I've read, not often but I've read about regarding the sachs VR6 set up.

It's a 6 speed pd150, worryingly when servicing it we found a k&n panel filter maybe indicates someone has been fiddling and has possibly had her remapped!

Gears don't seem any smoother but then it wasn't crunchy or rough to start with

I'll give it 15 more miles and go back to the mechanic if it's it's still doing it

60 miles total and it's now spot on
