Finally getting around to starting my RR for this car!

Previously had a 1.4 petrol Sport of the same year, but made the change to this!:

I'll start off with a few pictures of progress:

Debadged the rear, and added the FR badge as this wasn't on the pre-FL.

Time to get facelifted!

21st birthday present:

JVC double DIN!

Chose this one in particular for its removable front, was too paranoid about someone stealing a standard double DIN!

Original 16" alloys refurbed in Anthracite
Custom remap
VW Golf interior light
JVC Double DIN
Footwell LEDs
PD160 Intake

I also have some front brakes from a TT 225 that I have yet to get round to fitting!

Unfortunately got a puncture yesterday, so will be looking at picking up a pair of Uniroyal Rainsport 2s over the weekend and then I will have them all round, had one pair on already for 4-5k so far and can't fault them.

After a good weekend spent cleaning!

Unfortunately I have also somehow put a couple of small scratches in my touchscreen on the stereo! :'(

How much were your facelift bumpers and where from??

I picked them up as two separate items from eBay, the front cost me around £90 before the grilles and foglights, and the rear was just over £110. Painting the pair was £250 from a lad I know in the trade who runs a very, very good bodyshop.

Grilles were around £80 from Dave @ Sere, and the foglights I picked up second hand (genuine) for £35.

eBay, £5 or so. It's a genuine aerial for a Citroen C2!

So, quickly detailed today in anticipation of what looks to be a great weekend for the weather!

With the added bonus that it flew through its MOT this morning!

haha its cool ive finally got my hands on a cupra rear, picking it up thursday sprayed i want some 17s for mine, been looking at these, what do you think?

I'm not sold on them yet, if I was keeping them, ideally they would need a refurb. On top of that they would also need 4 new tyres, so it would be an expensive mod!

They're possibly going on my mum's A4 cab, which for some silly reason has 16s with tractor tyres.

I still have them somewhere mate! I have plenty of storage, I have access to a disused barn! This results in plenty of space to store, tinker and clean!
