Don't want to get a cat s put on it lol n no not really all lights in tact and working, mechanical wise it was lower arm, ball joint n track rod end

That’s not too bad at all. Do you think insurance would write it off? It’s only a cat if they write it off, right?

Possibly I don't want that as it seriously damaged the value

Sort of I swerved to avoid an idiot speeding and I took the option of that or a head on, the usual never stopped in a small village and no cctv

True. It’s a risk. If they say it’s not financially viable to repair, that’s it then. That stays with the car. I had an accident. No other parties involved. The road was f¥cked. Claimed through insurance. I thought they’d right it off. It didn’t look as bad as yours, but my radiator, suspension etc was shot. £9,735 later my car was fixed. I’d bought it for just under £15k 8 months earlier, and now, a year and a half later, it’s worth £8-9k apparantly… Your repairs cheap enough to DIY?
