Hi all — new here, hoping for some knowledge from anyone who’s dug into this

Just joined after picking up a 2018 SEAT Ateca SE Technology (KH7, pre-facelift). Loving it so far, but the front end’s got me wondering about a bit of a styling upgrade.

I’ve been looking at giving the front end a sportier look and I’m considering swapping in a genuine Cupra Ateca front bumper (with its honeycomb grille) rather than just doing a grille swap. I know the Cupra and standard Ateca share the same MQB A1 platform and body shell, but from what I’ve read, the bumpers themselves are shaped differently (different grille opening/intakes), so I’m not sure how much else it drags in.

A few things I’d love this community’s help with:

Has anyone actually done this swap — Cupra Ateca front bumper onto a standard SE/SE Technology Ateca? Would love to see photos if so.

If it’s not a straight bolt-on, what else typically needs changing — headlights, fog light brackets, parking sensor/radar cutouts, wiring?

Any tips on sourcing a genuine used one (front only) at a sensible price — most listings I’ve found are for rears.

Alternatively, has anyone gone the “genuine FR-style gloss black grille” route instead, as a simpler swap? Keen to hear how that turned out too if so.
