Hi Guys.

Ive just joined the forum, im currently driving a Golf GTI but I want to sell and change to a Leon TDI, ive been looking at a few TDI's around the £10k/2004/30k miles mark and just wondered what I would have to look out for, Im not a complete newbie as Ive owned a couple of Diesel A3's in the past but any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance! :D

some may say lala land....
water seals is a known issue - look for water in footwells
if greater mileage (60k +) look for cambelt work having been done

also, have a look in the mk1 section as lots and lots on this subject as most isues are common across the model range
