Caliper paint!

Hi all,

Painted my calipers today and affixed some vinyl stickers on it today and really please with results.

Not bad for £7 paint and the £5 stickers I thought

Where did u get the stickers? i personally think they look quality, really give it a different look.

ebay mate. its buy it now i think. just searched for 'seat caliper' and it came up with it. was going to get some brembo vinyls but decided against it. im really glad i did.

usually im useless at things like this, hence why im chuffed!

What paint is it? You seem to have a matt finish. I did mine and its a gloss. Not that it matters lol

it was some cheap stuff off ebay lol.

started spraying and it wasn't looking too good. but im happy with them on. might look into a gloss or something for them.

might be a while though, need to start saving for my remap woo!

unless you lacquer them the stickers going to come off quickly

really? it said they were high temperature ones would that make any difference?

if not what should i do it with please?

I used exactly same stickers except relised the seat logo was **** so didnt put it on. But as like someone else said above mine are a gloss finish very smart I must say. also got laqure over mine as they would get dirty otherwise as well

I like the look of them. I am still tempted to do mine as I think they make the car look tidy instead of the usually brake dust and rust showing through wheels.

I also wish i'd got your alloys too, instead of the horrible ones I have on my SE. I think that style really suit the Ibiza (as a standard wheel) in my opinion.

what laqure did you buy guinness?

if you lacquer them it will

1.prevent the sticker coming off
2.be easier to clean
3.look shiney and new!

yes or any decent paint place. I didnt use high temp, but havnt had any problems at all

yeah looks quality! im thinking i will do it for the summer, when upgrading to 312mm brakes

i might do it soon and have new discs and pads so they arent too dirty yet,

Looking good. Painted my new front calipers today with red high temp engine paint. Hopefully fit them with my 312 cross drilled and grooved discs I bought within next few weeks if I get time.
