cam belt

First of all, im new to the site so will say HI YA to you all secondly, I bought my leon cupra about 3 week ago, Its a y reg 01 done 56k was wondering around how many many miles is it before the cam belt needs changing, cheers del.

If you're planning on keeping the car for more than 10k miles i'd get it done sooner rather than later, also get the water pump done at the same time ... make sure you ask for the metal bladed version

cheers pal, obviously you have had it done then, how much am i looking at it costing aprox.

Nope not had it done, but it's been well discussed on more than one forum. Not sure on cost though, if you pop it into the search facility i am pretty sure it will bring results back though.
