As above .. would just want info on camber bolts ive been looking into getting some but cant find any info .. anyone using any ?

THANKS :p

I know that because you can adjust the camber using the bolts that you already have on the car.

camber bolts will give you no greater range of adjustment than what you have now.

SEAT people?

Or People with cars that have inferior inadjustable suspension? like japcrap

one seat cupra owner ... one seat gti owener and one vw polo owner ?

more or less theyr sayin that you can get camber bolts which lets you adjust the wheel to more of a vertical points (neg camber)

But you have about 2.5 Deg's negative camber on a lowered Ibiza, but can be adjusted right up to postive if you wanted.

you can't get more (or less) - so I don't understand what it'd gain you

you get the same movment, they just make it less fiddly to do the ajustment. and i suppose you can mark the bolts if you have to take things apart

i dont know my last tyres were toyo proxi's and onli lasted 5weeks with about 150miles on that if that but ive got new handcooks (or w.e) now and ive had them for about 4weeks and theres hardly no wear but a little bit of what looks liek its wearing a little like a dark line around the inside if that makes sence .. soo i just wanted to know if i could prevent it even more.

camber bolts are almost a good idea - they are a bolt that fastens the hub to the strut that replaces one of the stock ones on each side (there are two per side). The bolt is thinner than a std bolt and has an eccentric raised section in the middle - the idea is that you turn the bolt head and get more or less camber, locking it in position with the nut when its where you want.

Eibach do em, whiteline do em so anywhere selling these should do em

except they dont work very well on VW's - shame, as its almost a good idea. But they would give you a bit more slack than a std bolt if you needed a bit more camber but like has been said alreeady, you can already get about +/- 2.5 degrees with the stock bolts

Expensive struts like proflex have a similar system but just better engineered, one that actually works

5 weeks on proxes thats driving style problem, poor camber wont destroy tyre in 150 miles with a sensible driving style

also one off the above snapped on my old car, didnt notice of a couple of days till the other bolt loosened and caused problems

there is something seriously wrong with your car if this has happened in 150 miles - may not be camber though, toe could be way out

well they had a look in the garage and hey said it was the camber and tracking because the tracking was way way out and the camber was liek \/ ... also theres nothing wrong with my drivin lol its my profession! and im not havin the pulling to one side problems anymore since its all been adjusted and no real signs of wearing.
