There is only one cam position sensor, not 4. If you mean "for", write "for".

It is fitted under the cambelt cover on the lefthand side of the engine, on the end of the inlet cam.

The cambelt drives the exhaust cam and the inlet cam is driven by a chain and VVT mechanism under the cam cover.

hi mate did this throw a fault up ?? what was difficult about starting,

mine wont start when hot ?

cheers

yeah i began to have problems starting, mainly when hot. It then did bring a light up on dash and when i got it checked out, the fault was the camshaft position sensor, about £65 for a new one.

Oh yeah my bad, was an accident i did mean for and not 4, but thanks for pointing it out anyway.

cheers for the help with the sensor location and the advice on how to spell and type.lol
