Hi guy, iv been a seat owner for around 15 years. Started with a mk 1 cupra. Had to get rid after 12 years because of ulez ?. I now have a Leon 1.2 TSI. It does the job.
Just wanted to ask has anyone one had the same issue as I had last week. One of my camshaft tooth cogs if that's the right term, some of the teeth have sheared off and obviously so did the belt because of it. I've never seen this before nor did the RAC man who had to tow me home seen it. Any ideas why something like this would happen would be greatly appreciated. As soon as I work out had to do it I should put a picture on. ?‍?

Me again. This is what it looks like now

Welcome to SCN, sorry to here of your problem, not seen any thing like that myself. Try searching/posting in the Leon threads of the SEAT car forums as may be more info there.

Ok will do. Iv think about with cars since I was 14 and like you never seen this happen before. Didn't know if this was maybe a common fault. ?
